How it works

From a sentence to the door.

Six things happen between you describing your event and your attendees walking in. You do the first two. Most of the rest is already done by the time you look.

  1. 01Connect your AI.
  2. 02Describe the event.
  3. 03Tickets sell on your own Stripe.
  4. 04Publishing needs your yes.
  5. 05A confirmation that opens the event.
  6. 06The audience stays yours.

01Six steps

You do the first two.

  1. Step 01 · once, ever

    Connect your AI.

Add the Presso Events connector to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or anything else that speaks MCP, then sign in with a passwordless code when it asks. No card. The first sign-in creates your organisation, so there is no separate account to make first.

    Connect your AI

  2. Step 02 · every time after

    Describe the event.

Set one up, change a price, move a session, add a speaker, pull the numbers. Plain English in the window you already have open, or a form in the portal. The server interviews you rather than guessing: it will not invent a venue, a price or a refund policy, and it refuses the call if you leave one out.

    The guardrails, in full

    presso-events connector

You: Move the keynote to 10:30.

    Tool call: update_session

Claude: Keynote moved. The agenda is live already.

    Tool call: get_agenda

Claude: Day one now runs 09:00 doors, 10:30 keynote, 11:30 workshops.

  3. Step 03 · the money

Tickets sell on your own Stripe.

Connect the Stripe account you already use, or create one during setup. Stripe handles cards, wallets and 3D Secure. You are the merchant of record on your own account, so the money is yours the moment it lands, it pays out on your Stripe timetable, and we never hold it. The platform fee comes off in transit.

    See the fee maths

    Checkout · Stripe
    Standard ticket£199.00
    Booking fee to attendee£0.00
    Attendee pays£199.00
    Platform fee£1.99
    Net£197.01

Plus standard Stripe processing, paid to Stripe.

  4. Step 04 · nothing sells until you say so

    Publishing needs your yes.

Publishing is the moment a stranger can be charged. The server will not do it until the event has dates, a venue, a refund policy and real ticket types, and then only when the full price list has been read back to you and confirmed. If what comes back does not match what is about to go on sale, nothing publishes.

    publish_event

Tool call: publish_event: refused. Read the full price list back and confirm it first.

Claude: Early bird £149, 100 available. Standard £199, 200 available. Refunds up to 14 days before. Publish?

    You: Yes, publish it.

  5. Step 05 · the attendee

A confirmation that opens the event.

The buyer gets an email with their ticket, a check-in code for the door, and a link to your event app: agenda, speakers, rooms. It opens in the browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing to remember at the gate.

    Walk the attendee journey

Inbox · your ticket, to the buyer

You are going. Here is your ticket.

Thu 8 Oct, Kings Place, London. Doors 09:00. Check-in code 7HK-2M9.

  6. Step 06 · afterwards

    The audience stays yours.

Every buyer, with contact details, exportable to CSV whenever you like and usable in whatever mail tool you already run. We do not market to your attendees and we do not charge you to reach them. Next event, you are not starting from zero.
